FROM PAPER TO EMBROIDERY

A little drawing can tell a big story.

Drawings change and children grow. A patch brings a memory out of the drawer: onto a school backpack, mum’s bag, a jacket or a gift for the grandparents. Start with a clear photo of the drawing and see how it could look as embroidery in the configurator.

01

Photograph the drawing

Lay the paper flat in good light and take a photo from above, avoiding shadows. Crop the elements you want to turn into a patch.

02

See the preview

Upload the image to the configurator and choose the size. The preview helps you see how the drawing could translate into an embroidered style.

Choose and order

Review the proposal, choose quantities and finishes, and check the price before buying. The minimum order is 5 pieces.

ONE MEMORY, MANY WAYS TO ENJOY IT

On a backpack.
On a school smock.
Close to those you love.

Five patches of the same design can become a little family gift: one for your child, one for the parents and others for the grandparents. Mum can put one on her bag and carry a little piece of her child’s imagination wherever she goes. Or use them to personalise several garments with their favourite drawing.

For schools and creative workshops, a mascot drawn together can become the symbol of the class or a special day.

THE SAME DRAWING, A NEW WAY TO CARRY IT

A patch.
A keychain.
A charm for her bag.

The drawing doesn’t have to be sewn onto clothing. It can become an embroidered keychain for mum’s keys or a charm clipped to her bag or a backpack: a little reminder that stays with her even while her child is at school.

To use it as a charm, choose the keychain version: the same embroidered accessory, ready to attach wherever you like. After the patch preview in the configurator, you can request the keychain version and choose the patch, the keychain or both.

A FEW TIPS BEFORE YOU START

Give their imagination room. Help it become embroidery.

Large shapes, clear outlines and fewer tiny details are easier to read. Small lettering, gradients and very thin lines may need simplifying. The preview is a visual proposal: thread and fabric may reproduce colours and details differently from the image on your screen.

Choose a sew-on patch or an iron-on backing. Always check that the garment’s fabric is suitable for heat application; sewing may be a better choice for delicate items.

PARENTS’ QUESTIONS

Before transforming their drawing.

Can I use a phone photo of the drawing?

Yes. Choose a clear, well-lit photo taken straight on. Avoid reflections and shadows so the outlines remain recognisable.

Can the drawing become a bag charm?

Yes: the embroidered keychain version can be clipped to a bag or backpack and used as a charm. Start with the drawing in the configurator, generate the preview and request the keychain version too. The price includes the applicable hardware surcharge.

Can I order just one patch?

The minimum is 5 pieces. Use the patches on several garments or share the same keepsake with your family.

How much does it cost to turn the drawing into a patch?

The price depends on the size, quantity and finishes you choose. The configurator shows your project’s price before purchase, with free worldwide shipping.

Will the embroidery look exactly like the drawing?

Embroidery interprets the drawing using thread and fabric. Some details may need adapting to make them achievable. Check the preview before placing your order.

Do I need to upload my child’s name or photo?

No: just the drawing is enough. Crop out signatures, names or other personal information you don’t want to include. Only upload images you have the right to use.
